R.O 1928: BEYOND THE PLEDGE

Not a Tribute. A Takeover.

 

A nation didn’t begin with a flag. It began with the voices of young people who refused to wait.

In 1928, an oath was spoken — not merely to unite, but to become. Nearly a century later, that spirit echoes again through the movement of today’s generation.

 

R.O 1928: Beyond the Pledge is a collaborative campaign between Insurgent Club and infipop, inspired by the energy of the 1928 Youth Pledge. This campaign goes beyond commemoration — it calls on today’s youth to move beyond the promise and turn it into collective action. With the tagline “Not a Tribute. A Takeover.”, the spirit of 1928 is reinterpreted into the creative language of resistance, expressed through how we speak, move, and create today.

 

This collaboration is part of Hari Raya Pemuda 2025, a national campaign initiated by infipop and Muda-Mudahan, serving as a convergence point for the spirit, restlessness, and aspirations of Indonesian youth.

 

Held at Melting Pop, a new community space at M Bloc Jakarta, this event became a symbol of ideas, intergenerational collaboration, and creativity. Hari Raya Pemuda responds to the reality of today’s youth, a generation that’s hyper-connected yet often fragmented.

 

Through this celebration, infipop and its collaborators created a shared narrative and space for growth, expression, and movement.

As part of the celebration, Insurgent Club x infipop launched an exclusive capsule collection titled “R.O 1928: Beyond the Pledge.”

The collection consists of three essential pieces, each representing a core element of the Youth Pledge:

T-shirt (Blood) 

Representing roots and passion. Bold graphic design with strong red accents, symbolizing the fire that ignited a generation’s resistance.

Outer Jacket (Language)

Symbolizing expression and rebellious voices. A representation of freedom of speech and self-definition.

Canvas Bag (Unity)

representing collective strength. A functional medium that reminds us that change is born from solidarity.

The R.O 1928 capsule embodies three key principles:

No Restock Collectibles → A limited release that captures the Beyond the Pledge moment, once released, it will not be reproduced.

Wear The Pledge → Each design reinterprets the Youth Pledge, functioning not just as style but as a statement.

R.O 1928: Beyond the Pledge was officially launched on October 25, 2025, alongside the Hari Raya Pemuda celebration at Melting Pop, M Bloc Jakarta. The event marked the offline launch, gathering youth communities, creatives, and the public in a shared space of expression and movement.

 

The collection will also be available online starting October 28, 2025 through official Insurgent Club website & marketplace, infipop media channels, Insurgent Club flagship store.
